Two New Content Packs Will Add More Alien Warfare To “XCOM: Enemy Unknown”

If you’ve been playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown this month and crave more single-player, alien-killing action, 2K Games and Firaxis Games has announced two upcoming content packs for all platforms.

The Slingshot Content Pack will introduce three new maps, a set of Council missions that includes an alien battle in Chinese skies, and a new playable character. The second pack is still a mystery and will be released after the Slingshot Content Pack.
And if you can’t wait for those, the Elite Soldier Pack is already available for purchase for $4.99. This pack gives more customization options, including a classic, flattop-haired XCOM soldier inspired by XCOM: UFO Defense.
