Not gonna lie: It bums me out that I have to go from my SF Giants winning the World Series to Little Busters! Not a fair comparison, but I’m still going to make it because they’re both baseball. Well, one is; Little Busters! just pretends to be and it makes me sad.

I know that LB! isn’t really about baseball. It’s about friendship and high school or whatever. It hasn’t really made itself clear in that regard. I don’t know how the tasks are going to tie into the story, and why does Riki’s narcolepsy even matter at this point? Even this episode lacked focus. It started introducing a new girl and ends with some old guy. Why should I care about Komari’s story? What’s the point of the chicken and egg thing? It’s hard to watch this show because it constantly portrays itself as a pointless variety gag show without the gags. Also, it’s just bad visually. But mostly it’s the whole pointless thing. If it had some direction and I knew where it was going with this, I’d have more patience. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m going to get it anytime soon.

I still can’t get over any of the female voices in this show. They are legitimately terrible. Too cutesy and fake and all together really annoying. And actually, I’m going to lump in the male characters too. Riki, I can’t deal with because he is very soft-spoken and feminine. Compared to the other characters, it doesn’t make him very appealing. Every other guy is just stupid. So basically, I hate everyone except Kurugaya.

It goes without saying but I’m gonna say it anyway: I am not enjoying this. To be honest, I find the whole thing to be unbearably dull. But you know, it could turn it around. Maybe. Hopefully. I don’t want 22 more episodes like this, guys. It might make me eat my own face.
