If you need help deciding what games to purchase when the Wii U launches on November 18, new reviews can help. Last week, the first reviews for Wii U launch games Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U appeared on the web.
Hit the break for the ratings.
Nintendo Land outscored New Super Mario Bros. U — but just barely. With an overall rating of 86%, Nintendo Land scored especially high for its graphics, accessibility, and innovation, though all of its scores were above 80%. Meanwhile, New Super Mario Bros. U scored an overall 82%.
One of the big draws of Nintendo Land seems to be its multiplayer games, while New Super Mario Bros. U wins for its “game-changing” use of the GamePad. It sounds like you can’t go wrong with either — which makes it all the more tempting to splurge on both and have a Wii U party come next week.
