Heroes Of Science Action Figures
Sure, we’re used to seeing various heroes of science fiction in action figure form, but what about real rockstars of science like Carl Sagan and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Artist datazoid has closed that gap with his custom-made Heroes Of Science Action Figures.
Based on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine figures, datazoid’s creations took a collective 50 hours to make.
He wrote:

“I like action figures. I have a small collection of them. I’ve noticed that you can buy Albert Einstein figures, Nikola Tesla bobble-heads and The Simpsons even brought out a Stephen Hawking figure based on his appearance in an episode. However, I thought it’d be really cool if there was an entire series of them, based on all of the people who’ve contributed to our understanding of the world and the universe it sits in.”

Although there are a lot of scientists he missed in the collection, their missing appearance is because of datazoid’s rules. Scientists in the figure collection had to have been alive sometime during the 20th century and no medical heroes didn’t count, due to medicine being its own particular field.
