Deadpool To Die?

At Comic-Con’s X-Men panel, Marvel put up this panel, which features the “Dead” from Deadpool’s logo and “February 2012”.

Now, that’s a little ways away, but could it be that Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth could be soon to bite the bullet. It’s hard to believe, but at the same time could make some sense. Recently in his own comic, Deadpool has been trying to get himself killed (because apparently there’s nothing left for him to do) by antagonizing the Hulk into beating him into a pulp, but it didn’t really work. Also, in a past story by Joe Kelly, Deadpool had fallen in love with Death, which gives him reason to want to die.

The question that I’d personally have is whether this is for the main Deadpool series, or if it’ll be something happening in a mini-series, or in his “Deadpool Max” series. And if it IS in his main book, does that mean the book will end, and no more Deadpool? Or is it just going to be a way for Daniel Way to end his 40+ issue run with the character?

I guess we’ll be seeing more about this in the near future as Marvel releases more teasers.
