Those speculations about the dolls taking after their pins were correct!  Photos of the limited edition Disney Princess Designer Dolls have been leaked, and the reactions have been…mixed, to say the least.  More photos under the jump.

The low quality pictures were probably snapped using someone’s cell phone.  I imagine Disney doesn’t want pictures from the expo to be leaked before they can get the professional shots out.

Personally, I think the dresses are gorgeous, but the dolls themselves leave a bit to be desired.  The super long couture eyelashes send me in to a fit of giggles, and the looks on Rapunzel and Pocahontas’s face make me wonder who hired them to walk the runway.  Die-hard fans of the princesses will certainly have no issue with snatching them up, and I’m looking forward to high quality pictures that are sure to come.
