According to reports, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller have selected William Monohan, the Oscar-winning writer behind The Departed, to take on the script for the much discussed and somewhat expected sequel to Sin City.

Heat Vision report that Monohan will work on a draft recently completed by Frank Miller, the man who of course created the comic series and was integral in bringing it to the big screen.

This news comes after Rodriguez confirmed last month that he had secured financing for the film, which will be titled A Dame to Kill For, and that it could begin production as early as this year.
