Puns aside, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson seems to be getting a ton of new gigs lately, and is now being targeted to play Goliath in the biblical epic tale of David and Goliath.

The film is from the producers of Twilight, so it’s no surprise that the role of David is being offered up to Taylor Lautner. Dwayne Johnson as Goliath makes sense to me, but seriously? Taylor Lautner? I know films need star power to sell tickets (just look at what happened to latest Conan the Barbarian), but I just cannot picture him as David. It needs someone who looks pretty scrawny and puny next to someone like Dwayne Johnson.

All I can ask of you folks now is: Can you dig it?
