“Resident Evil” Manga Starts Serialization
Resident Evil has been turned into a movie and an animated movie. Now, a new Resident Evil manga will start serializing in Weekly Shouen Champion, on the 23rd of February. Otherwise known as Biohazard in Japan, the manga will be drawn by Serizawa Noaki, author of Saru Lock, Sumomomo Momomo and Yumeiro Patissiere.
The manga will be focusing on Chris Redfield, who is sent to investigate a zombie outbreak in an Asian institution based on an isolated island.

Asia’s largest and most reputable school, Maruhawa Academy, is situated on an isolated island. When a female student mysteriously becomes a zombie and causes an outbreak in the school, BSAA adviser, Professor Doug, and his assistant, Ricky, are sent in to investigate, but they get swept out in the gradually worsening tragedy.
Involved in the tragedy is a woman in a black robe wearing an ominous smile on her face. Hot on the heels of Professor Doug, Chris and his fellow BSAA members get tangled up in the outbreak nightmare.
