Below is the list of Disney’s announcements for the following projects:

• The Muppets 2 has been pushed to March 21st, 2014.
• Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be released in 3D, release date unchanged.
• Maleficent has been pushed to Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 and will be released in 3D.
• Guardians of the Galaxy will be released in 3D, release date unchanged.
• 1952 has been pushed to December 19th, 2014 and will be released in 3D.
• Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is now set for a July 10th, 2015 release.
• The Little Mermaid’s 3D re-release, previously scheduled for September 13th, 2013 has now been removed.

There’s no one in Hollywood with a better track record than Brad Bird. In the feature film department, he’s four for four, and his next project sound like the stuff that fanboy dreams are made of.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Bird’s looking to go five for five by signing with Disney to direct 1952 based on a script by Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof. Details are not known about the project at this time, but Disney can go ahead and debit ten bucks from my account now, because they’ve got my money…
