image

When Sony announced the PlayStation Vita a little under two years ago at E3 2011, gamers were electric with excitement over the first handheld that seemed to be able to truly match the experience of home console gaming.

Fast forward to just past the first anniversary of the PS Vita where things are looking very grim. Sony seems to have all but given up on saving their powerful game machine, instead opting to focus their efforts on the upcoming PS4, while surrendering the portable market to Nintendo’s 3DS.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, but I’m not here to recite every failure of the Vita. I’d rather talk gamers out of the worst possible use of their precious dollars in gaming currently.

“Shin Megami Tensei IV” Teases One Epic JRPG Adventure

Atlus has had great success with the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona franchises among hardcore RPG gamers. This coming July, Atlus is hoping to recapture the same success found with Persona 4: Golden in the 3DS’ next big JRPG: Shin Megami Tensei IV.

The teaser hints at big things to come, placing the outcome of a world in gamers’ hands. The trailer lacks combat, but I suspect that we’ll see much more of Shin Megami Tensei IV very soon.
