“Now life has killed the dream I dreamed.”

Tom Hooper was no stranger to the world of directing when his last film The King’s Speech exploded onto screens at the tail end of 2010, reaping the lion’s share of awards including an Oscar for Best Director. For his follow-up, he chose the biggest and showiest project imaginable: the epic of all epic musicals, Les Miserables.

Six New Images For “The Dark Knight Rises” Released

We are getting ever closer to the day that I’m sure that will be in everyone’s diaries, and Warner Bros. are continuing to release snippets for The Dark Knight Rises. Comic-Con International saw no last minute preview, but instead saw six more images from the film released.

Despite not being released until Friday, the film is already getting some nice things said about it too. Perhaps most notable is The Hollywood Reporter’s assertion that the film makes “everything in the rival Marvel universe look thoroughly silly and childish”.

The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20th.

New “Dark Knight Rises” Trailer: ‘I’m Not Afraid, I’m Angry’

Nokia has exclusively revealed a new trailer for the final film in Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.

Packed with new footage and some familiar scenes, it’s a great little trailer, showing just how personal the conflict between Bane and Batman will be. Be warned, however, there is a spoiler line of dialogue in this trailer, so if you want to avoid a plot-point reveal, then I’d advise you to resist watching.

The legend ends July 20th.

First Trailer For “Les Miserables”

Yesterday I posted the first official photos from this December’s film adaptation of Les Miserables, and today brings the first trailer. It features all the people from yesterday’s photos (still no Thenardiers!!) and yes, that is Anne Hathaway singing “I Dreamed a Dream,” which you’ve probably heard your mom listening to on her Susan Boyle CD.

I’m a huge fan of this show, and I think this looks pretty awesome. What do you guys think?
