“Prometheus” (2012) Featurette - ‘Vision of Prometheus’
With just two more weeks to go until its release, another featurette for Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated film, Prometheus, has hit the web. Titled “Vision of Prometheus”, the featurette has Scott and members of the cast speaking about the larger themes of the film, along with what to expect from his use of 3D, and promises something you haven’t seen done with the technology to date.
Speaking personally here, I thought the 3D trailer for the film was absolutely stunning when I saw it in theaters, so I have every bit of confidence that Scott can and will back up his words.
The search for mankind’s beginning starts June 8th!

“Snow White and the Huntsman” (2012) Interactive Trailer
Universal Pictures has released this really cool interactive trailer for their upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman. Though a rehash of a previous trailer, the interactive options they’ve added to it have given this trailer more value in checking out. Simply hold your mouse over the video for options to behind-the-scenes facts, and discussion options are displayed in the space below the trailer for viewers to click through to more behind-the-scenes featurettes for the film.
I personally found this to be really cool and something I’m looking forward to see done by other studios with other big blockbuster projects as it really helps sell the movie to me. Not only that, it shows an appreciation of the film-making process by not reducing these featurettes as bonus material on DVD/Blu-Ray releases.
Snow White and the Huntsman stars Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Toby Jones, Nick Frost, Ray Winstone and Ian McShane and hits theaters June 1st.

“Prometheus” - Charlize Theron Featurette
The latest featurette for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus is out and it focuses in on Charlize Theron’s character, Meredith Vickers.
Theron goes on to discuss the role of her character and how she factors into the overall story as the Captain/Commander of the Prometheus. From this featurette, it can be easily deduced that she serves as the film’s main antagonist for the early part of the film.

New “Prometheus” Featurette
20th Century Fox has released this featurette in anticipation for the film’s June release.
Featuring behind the scenes footage—as well as new footage—and commentary from the director and several cast members, the featurette manages to accomplish a lot in its one minute and forty seconds.
As a huge sci-fi fan myself, I’m looking forward to this movie quite a bit more after seeing this.

“Snow White and the Huntsman” (2012) Trailer #2
Universal Studios has released the second trailer for their upcoming re-imagining of the classic fairy tale, Snow White. You all know what the story is about—this trailer gives a better context about how each character fits into this version of the story, as well as showcasing a few lines of dialogue by Kristen Stewart (Twilight) who is playing the title role of Snow White. The other two characters focused on are Charlize Theron (Hancock) playing the evil queen and Chris Hemsworth (Thor) playing the Huntsman.
What I love about this movie so far, though, is the whole look of the film and the design of the world that they’re in.
Snow White and the Huntsman hits theatres June 1st.

“Prometheus” (2012) Debut Trailer
20th Century Fox has released the first teaser trailer for Ridley Scott’s upcoming prequel film, Prometheus. If you thought the plot summary that’s been released was vague and were hoping for more clarity in a trailer, I’m sad to tell you this doesn’t do anything to give you a clearer picture.
This is a teaser so it’s meant to be vague to get you interested, and from what’s been shown there is a lot to be interested in. There’s a lot that happens in this short minute and ten-second teaser, but there’s a lack of context as to what all the events mean.
Definitely a film to be on the lookout for when it hits theatres June 8th, 2012.
