DreamWorks and EA have put out this first featurette for their upcoming film adaptation of the popular video game franchise, Need For Speed.

The featurette takes audiences on a behind-the-scenes look of how director Scott Waugh is shooting the film’s various action sequences surrounding the theme of street racing. While most video game adaptations have yet to find any real success, Need For Speed will look to take advantage of the popularity of street racing found in the Fast & Furious series.

Need For Speed stars Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Michael Keaton, Imogen Poots, Kid Cudi, Ramon Rodriguez and Dakota Johnson with a release date set for Spring 2014.

“Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” (2012) - Red Band Trailer

The red band trailer for Tim Burton (Dark Shadows) and Timur Bekmambetov’s (Wanted) adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has been released and it has to be said that this is the best trailer to date. Focusing almost entirely on the action, the film does look extremely promising in that department. Such is to be expected from a visual stylist like Bekmambetov, but whether it has much substance beyond that is up to speculation.
