With the year entering its second half, it’s time to recap all the films from the first half of 2012.

This year has proven to be a big year for Hollywood with some great breakout hits, but at the cost of a few duds. The first half also saw the release of seven of my ten most anticipated films of the year resulting in a mixed bag of reactions. 2012 has been filled with its ups and downs and many surprises, but there’s only been one film that I’ve truly despised.
