First Look: Shailene Woodley & Theo James In “Divergent”

Although Shailene Woodley’s role of Mary Jane Watson has been cut from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the actress still has other projects that she’s working on. From Entertainment Weekly, here is a first look at one of those films.

Pictured above is Woodley and co-star Theo James for the upcoming sci-fi flick from director Neil Burger (The Illusionist, Limitless). The film is set in a dystopian future where society has been segregated by human traits and sees a young girl (Shailene Woodley) looking to break free. 

The film also stars Zoe Kravitz, Jai Courtney, Kate Winslet, Ashley Judd, Miles Teller, Maggie Q, Ray Stevenson and Tony Goldwyn with a March 21st, 2014 release.

Latest Vehicle Addition For “Transformers 4”
From Michael Bay’s blog comes another car that will be appearing in the upcoming Transformers sequel.
This time around it is Chevrolet’s Ultimate Sonic RS, although no news on who the car represents is known at the time. 
Tranformers 4 stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing and Jack Reynor with a summer 2014 release.

“The World’s End” (2013) ’Cornetto/Blood & Ice Cream Trilogy’ Trailer

Universal Studios has released a new Cornetto/Blood & Ice Cream Trilogy trailer for Edgar Wright’s upcoming film The World’s End.

The trailer is aimed towards fans of the the previous two installments of the trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), while also clearing up just who is behind the alien invasion in Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s hometown. 

The World’s End also stars Rosamund Pike, Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan and Paddy Considine with a July 19th U.K. release and an August 23rd U.S. release.

“Beware the Batman” Sizzle Reel

The upcoming Beware the Batman is set to premiere on Cartoon Network July 13th, 10 a.m. And probably as a way to prepare potential fans of the new television toon, Cartoon Network recently released this sizzle reel of the show.

“Kingdom Hearts 3” New Details Announced

New details have been announced about Kingdom Hearts III by the game’s director, Tetsuya Nomura. Speaking with Famitsu (via Polygon), Nomura revealed a number of gameplay and story details about the upcoming title, due out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the future.

Mary Jane Watson Out Of “Amazing Spider-Man 2”; May Be Recast For “ASM 3”

Recently, the story hit that the character of Mary Jane Watson would no longer be featured in the sequel to 2012’s Amazing Spider-Man. We know that actress Shailene Woodley had filmed some scenes for the film, but those seem to have been cut from the final produce.

The Xbox One Is Removing DRM Restrictions

As GiantBomb first reported, Microsoft will be removing all DRM restrictions on their upcoming Xbox One console. This includes the removal of the controversial 24-hour online check-ins, the ability to play used or lend games, the removal of region-locking, and the addition of offline play.

“Rayman Legends” Delay Due To Sales Concerns

Ubisoft’s CEO has admitted that the reason Rayman Legends was delayed was due to fears that the Wii U version wouldn’t sell enough copies. Yves Guillemot explained that the decision to create versions for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita was done in a bid to give as many people as possible a chance to play it.
