Bandai Entertainment, the subsidary of Namco Bandai Holdings that handles anime and manga releases in the United States, announced that it will stop offering new DVD, Blu-Ray Disc, and manga releases next month. The company will continue to distribute from its existing catalog and will focus on licensing rights to other companies.

It’s a rare occurrence to see an anime that doesn’t feature a school uniform for at least some length of time. More often than not, the main characters spend a lot of time in their uniforms, going so far that some characters can be identified by their uniform alone. In anime, they take a lot of creative liberties with the uniforms, and so far, these have been my favorites.
