Bandai Entertainment, the subsidary of Namco Bandai Holdings that handles anime and manga releases in the United States, announced that it will stop offering new DVD, Blu-Ray Disc, and manga releases next month. The company will continue to distribute from its existing catalog and will focus on licensing rights to other companies.

It’s a rare occurrence to see an anime that doesn’t feature a school uniform for at least some length of time.  More often than not, the main characters spend a lot of time in their uniforms, going so far that some characters can be identified by their uniform alone.  In anime, they take a lot of creative liberties with the uniforms, and so far, these have been my favorites.

A tale of a mysterious girl and a boy who never stops caring — that’s GOSICK, or at least, that is what I’ve concluded after 24 episodes of the show. GOSICK isn’t a tearjerker, which I am sure of, but it does tug your emotional string every now and then.

Because Monstre Charmant’s heart is in a form of a bunny.

This is a tale about the lies circulating around an orphan, a scarecrow, a knight, a woodcutter & a gray wolf with her slave. 

Most people believe that the Gray Wolves have no emotion in them, but that’s because they live a calculated life. If there is one thing that can’t be calculated, it’d be love. Being loved is what makes Victorique even better than the other Gray Wolves- whether the love is from her mom, Cordelia, or Kujo.

If I were the one to create the episode title of episode 16, it would be “The Disappearance of Victorique de Blois.” Like the fortune teller said, Kujo and Victorique will be separated, but not in heart. Kujo, have you found her?

Don’t be silly Grevil, for there is no such thing as stopping Victorique from unearthing the reasons of the disappearance of Leviathan the Alchemist. Victorique, after being challenge by Leviathan through a book, discovers a lot more about who she is and her final purpose- a tool to cause a storm.

After two filler episodes, GOSICK has managed to return to its usual mystery solving segment of the series.. with a little Fullmetal Alchemist concept in it. How will the battle between the wellspring of wisdom and alchemy go? That’s probably pushing to ahead of the episode. How did the battle between Avril and Victorique go in terms of getting Kujo’s attention?

On a hot summer day, Victorique attempts to battle the scorching rays of the sun with a terribly boring book. She’s on the losing end of the battle until a parasol comes to her rescue. Wait, parasols can’t move on their own.

This is an episode about love. Not equally expressed love, but a seriously unrequited love. Grevil, what is this story you have in store for us?
