Collider reports that AMC is going to rerun the first two seasons of The Walking Dead, starting in February, with all the episodes shown in black and white.
You may remember that AMC showed the pilot episode in black and white back in July in an attempt to see the show hold “true to the original black and white comic book.”
Fans overall were supportive of the TV channel showing the pilot episode in monochrome format, which was a pretty cool move, and it looks like AMC also appreciated the results when the figures came in.

It’s only been going for a few years, but Chew has become one of the most successful ongoings out there, winning an Eisner Award in 2010 for Best New Series. Now it looks like that this quirky comic could be set to become the latest Image comic to take a look at being translated into a TV show.
Deadline reports:
“Showtime has bought a script for Chew, a quirky half-hour cop show based on John Layman and Rob Guillory’s bestselling comic book of the same name. Stephen Hopkins is attached to direct and executive produce the project, which hails from Circle of Confusion, the company behind AMC’s hit series adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead.”

I’m not entirely sure how this would work, but I’d be willing to give it a shot.
Saying that, I’m guilty of still having not picked up the first trade paperback of this. Maybe soon.

Alright, so I’ve already shown you my opinions on the top ten series you should be reading from the big two, Marvel and DC, but now I’m going to show you what’s good from the rest. I’ll be focusing primarily on Vertigo here, though, as I really don’t get a ton of books from the indie publishers. It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just that I already get almost forty different series every month, and stuff gets expensive. SO, that said, I’ll show you what I’m getting, and tell you why I think each of these books are great ones, and then you guys, our readers, can leave comments and stuff about which series YOU think should be mentioned as the tops from Indie publishers such as Boom! Studios, Dynamite, Dark Horse, and Image (among others).
Once again, these are all in alphabetical order, so #1 is not necessarily a better series than #5 or #10. Read on to see the books I’ve picked!
