Kandiiholic’s Cosplay Pick - Katanagatari

I’m in love with the character design for this series, and I love the relationship with the two main characters.

The only thing I was upset about was the end of episode 3; it was just a fight preview.  I wished to see Hakuhei Sabi kick ass, but oh well. Cheerio!

“Cheerio!” Pre-order Katanagatari Nendoroid Petit

As you can see in the image above, each figure has interchangeable parts. As a fan of the series, I do intend to purchase the adorable figures eventually. If you would like to pre-order any or all of these yourself, check out Hobby Search, HLJ, or Amiami. This reminds me, I need to catch up with the series haha. CHEERIO!

What I’m watching: “Katanagatari” (anime)
So far I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen. The character design is a little different and the colors are pretty vibrant. One caution though, it can be pretty wordy and the action scenes can fall short at times but I like the build-up. Character development seems a bit underplayed but it feels intentional. It’s kind of like chess, you know the pieces and their roles but how it’s played is the main attraction. There’s just a short story that’s being told. Though the story may be short, it has my attention. There’s nothing as satisfying as seeing the beginning and an end. Slated for a 12 episode release, I’m going to stick with this series to the final episode. ^_^
