At a Next Big Thing Liveblog today, Marvel announced that Journey Into Mystery will continue past issue #645, which had been speculated as the finale of the series. It will have a new creative team consisting of Kathryn Immonen and Valerio Schiti, and will now star the Lady Sif as the main character instead of Loki.

Immonen spoke about taking on the title and the story she will be telling, mentioning that Sif is trying to become a better warrior, and will stop at nothing to do it; this puts many of her friends and family in danger, and Sif will have to deal with the aftermath of her actions.

Journey Into Mystery #646 hits in November.
