Full-Length Trailer For DreamWorks Animations’ “Turbo”
DreamWorks Animation has dropped its first full-length trailer for their summer animated flick, Turbo.
Turbo sees a snail (voiced by Ryan Reynolds) who is dissatisfied with how slow his life is going, and through a freak accident sees himself freed from his limitations and out to achieve his dream of winning the Indy 500.
While the premise is completely absurd, the film looks beautiful nonetheless, and in typical DreamWorks fashion sees the film field an impressive voice actor line up that includes: Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Maya Rudolph, Michael Pena, Samuel L. Jackson, Luis Guzman, Bill Hader, Richard Jenkins, Michelle Rodriguez and Snoop Dogg.

Gangster Squad is the latest effort from director Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) and focuses on corrupt and seedy 1949 Los Angeles. The main premise is that LA is run by the Brooklyn-born mob boss Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn), who has his fingers in various dirty pies — namely drugs, guns, prostitutes and gambling. How does Mickey get away with all of this? Why, he has the local police and politicians in his back pocket, of course.
Everything and everyone is under the control of Mickey — that is, apart from a small, secret, “off the books” crew of LAPD cops that plan on taking Mickey Cohen down. Leading the group are Sgt. John O’Mare (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling). Joining Penn, Brolin and Gosling, the strong ensemble cast also features Nick Nolte, Emma Stone, Robert Patrick, Anthony Mackie, Michael Pena and Giovanni Ribisi.

New “End of Watch” (2012) Trailer
A new trailer for the crime thriller End of Watch is out. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena, the film sees the two play LAPD officers who are marked for death after confiscating a small cache of drugs and weapons during a routine traffic stop.
The trailer makes the film come off as similar to both The Raid: Redemption and Dredd 3D with cops being stuck in an apartment complex and needing to fight their way out, but I’m a fan of both these actors and the way the movie is filmed by David Ayer looks interesting with its use of found footage.
End of Watch hits theaters September 21st.
