“Uncanny X-Force” Lives Again Under Humphries And Garney

Marvel has announced that after ending in December with issue #35 by Rick Remender and Phil Noto, Uncanny X-Force will be back in January with a new #1 and a brand new creative team of Sam Humphries and Ron Garney, as teased a few weeks ago.

Humphries mentioned that the series will continue in the black-ops vein, and that he’s going to “write it like [he] stole it” from Rick Remender, hoping to continue in a similar way to how the book has previously been written but taking it in its own unique direction, with storylines spinning out of the end of the earlier volume of the title.

The book will feature new lead characters Storm, Psylocke, Spiral, and Puck, with new characters set to join in the first few issues.

Humphries, Hopeless, Garney, And Larocca Are Wanted Killers In Marvel NOW!

Two more Marvel NOW! teasers have been released for December titles, with Sam Humphries and Ron Garney on a title teased by ‘Killers’, with Dennis Hopeless and Salvador Larocca on a title teased by ‘Wanted’.

Apparently the titles are linked together, but their identities are shrouded in mystery like the rest of this week’s announcements. Expect confirmations next week.
