“Wrath of the Titans” (2012) Oblivion Trailer
Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have released this latest trailer titled “Oblivion.” Highlighting more of the various monsters that Perseus (Sam Worthington) will have to face off against, this trailer does a pretty good job at enticing me to go watch the film.
Once again, the film will be released in 3D, but without the rushed conversion job that plagued its predecessor. The film also sees the return of Liam Neeson as Zeus, Ralph Fiennes as Hades and Rosamund Pike as Andromeda, while both Gemma Arterton and Luke Evans have departed from the franchise.
Feel the Wrath when it hits theatres March 29th, 2012.

“Wrath of the Titans” (2012) Debut Trailer
Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures bring you this debut trailer for the upcoming sequel to 2010’s Clash of the Titans. This time around, the Titans will actually make an appearance as they are set to unleash their wrath upon breaking free from the gods.
Reprising his role as Perseus is Sam Worthington, who is tasked with rescuing Zeus (Liam Neeson) after Ares (Edgar Ramirez) and Hades (Ralph Fiennes) capture and imprison him in the underworld. Also returning is Rosamund Pike reprising her role as Andromeda. Joining her is Bill Nighy as Hephaestus and Danny Huston as Poseidon.
After being pretty disappointed with Immortals, I’m actually looking forward to this film. I don’t doubt that this sequel will be just as straight forward as its predecessor, but the story this time looks more interesting and the art direction for these films has been its upside. I’ve really enjoyed the creature designs for this series of films, and from what I saw in this trailer it looks like we’re going to be treated to more cool looking mythical creature.

“EXCLUSIVE:Warner Bros has made a preemptive pitch deal for a science fiction action project to be written by Aaron Guzikowski that will reunite Sam Worthington with his Clash of the Titansproducer Basil Iwanyk. The logline is being kept under wraps but I’m told it’s a grounded space war film.”
Okay so there’s nothing really concrete about this film other than it’s a space war film… but that’s enough to get me interested. As vague as that is, I can’t help but be intrigued by war films set in space/futuristic settings. Curious to see what kind of character Worthington will play and if it’ll come across as something similar to his role in James Cameron’s Avatar.
Still I can’t get enough of the genre and I really hope a film like this does well at the box office. Provides me a little more hope that a Halo film can be made… I’m still hoping!
