“Resident Evil: Retribution” (2012) Teaser Trailer

First off, note that the first 35 seconds or so isn’t an ad, and in fact are part of the actual teaser trailer. Second, yes, this is the official trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution coming out later this year. Third, if you’re like me you’re probably as dumbfounded and perplexed as to what exactly you just saw. I mean…is this really Resident Evil? I’m just completely zombified after watching this trailer because though it features cast members from the previous Paul W.S. Anderson films, it just doesn’t feel like a Resident Evil movie.

Anyway, joining the cast this time around are Jason Isaacs, Kevin Durand, Li Bingbing and… Michelle Rodriguez? How are they going to explain her return as Rain Ocampo from the first Resident Evil?

We’ll find out when the movie comes out September 14th, 2012.
