Movie Forecast: October 2012

[via]

After a slow month of September, which ended off with two great films in End of Watch and Looper, the month of October comes with a slew of very interesting films.

There are a total of thirteen new, wide-released films for the month of October. Of those thirteen films, only two will be released in 3D, with those two films being Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie and Michael J. Basset’s Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.

With Halloween happening this month, you have your typical release of horror films, with three hitting theatres in the coming weeks: the aforementioned Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the latest Paranormal Activity film, and one that personally interests me in Sinister

Also of note this month is the directorial return of The Wachowskis, who will be directing their first feature film since 2003’s The Matrix Revolutions alongside Run Lola Run helmer Tom Tykwer.

Once again, for the full month’s schedule, hit the break and check out what is my personal pick for the month.
