First Trailer For Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
There have been little snippets floating around for a bit now, but last night saw ABC show the first full 30-second trailer for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the TV follow-up to The Avengers.
Directed and co-written by Joss Whedon, whilst Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen also co-write, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. sees the return of fan favorite Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) in a world of espionage which has been radically changed by the battle of New York.
Let the Coulson theories continue!

It looks like ‘Phase Two’ of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has started fairly well. Although yet to be released in the US, Iron Man 3 has opened in 42 markets across the world already, and managed the impressive feat of bettering the opening weekend of The Avengers at the international box office.

With Joss Whedon earlier saying that he’s not particularly fond of the previous two solo Hulk films — Ang Lee’s Hulk and Louis Leterrier’s The Incredible Hulk — it appears that the current Bruce Banner/Hulk nearly appeared a little earlier than we thought.
In an interview with Empire, Leterrier confirmed that, whilst Ed Norton took the lead role in his film, we nearly saw Mark Ruffalo Hulk up way before The Avengers.

As it happens, I was watching The Avengers only a few nights ago and thinking to myself about how it’s a shame that there’s not another Hulk film on the way any time soon. Well, it seems as if there may be a light at the end of that particular tunnel.
With ‘Phase Two’ of Marvel’s cinematic universe about to kick off this May with Iron Man 3, details are starting to emerge about a possible Hulk film. ‘Phase Two’ will be made up of Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers 2. No Hulk solo outing there, then.
Latino Review, however, is reporting that there will be big things to come in ‘Phase Three’ for The Hulk.
Be warned: there are potential spoilers for The Avengers 2 and other future Marvel films after the break.

It was reported a few months ago that Jeremy Renner wasn’t entirely happy with the direction Hawkeye took in The Avengers. Renner was quoted as saying, “At the end of the day, 90% of the movie, I’m not the character I signed on to play. I’m literally in there for two minutes, and then all of a sudden…”
I can kind of feel his pain, especially since Hawkeye was mainly used as a plot point, but it was a role that furthered the story that was trying to be put across.
Things are apparently going to be different next time round. Check out the break for more.
