Superman Takes Flight In New “Man of Steel” Banner
The promotional team over at Warner Bros. really must have taken notice of the success of Iron Man 3 lately, having really sprung into action over the last week.
Following up from the two new TV spots, banner and poster is another banner for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, and once again the elegance of this image is in its simplicity.
Man of Steel opens June 14.

New Banner For “Man of Steel”
Warner Bros. has released a new banner for Man of Steel, showing off Henry Cavill as the man himself, as well as some lovely cape work.
I really like this banner, actually, with the simplicity of the image being what makes it striking in my opinion.
I certainly prefer it to the poster released last week.

Nicolas Cage Says “Superman Lives” Would Have Been ‘Really Special’

image

Thankfully now long dead, Superman Lives was a late 90s attempt from Tim Burton to relaunch Superman. With Nicolas Cage set to star as the big, blue boy scout, the film fell apart due to various reasons.

Initially, the film was written by comic geek extraordinaire Kevin Smith, then tampered with by Warner Bros. and turned into a complete bastardization of one of comic’s most beloved characters. For those unaware of the proposed film, consider yourself fortunate.

“Mortal Kombat” Film To Offer Super Savings?

There hasn’t been much lately as far as plot details concerning the upcoming Warner Bros. remake of the Mortal Kombat film. Based on the brutal brawler, the series hit a bit of resurgence thanks to a game a lot of critics loved, as well as a web series from Kevin Tancharoen, which earned him the director’s seat for the remake.

Bloody Disgusting apparently has the plot details for the movie, and they’re probably not what you were expecting.

Details after the break.
