Summer 2013 Anime Chart

It’s that time of the Spring anime season again. With series approaching their halfway marks, here’s a preview of what is to come for the Summer season.

The Summer season is a feast of second seasons, remakes, and spin-offs such as Monogatari series, Rozen Maiden, and Fate/kaleid liner. There are a couple of new adaptations in the mix like Blood Lad, Silver Spoon, and Danganronpa if you’re looking for something fresh.

In my opinion, the greatest thing that the summer season has to offer are the movies. These include Ghost In The Shell Arise, AnoHana movie, Hal, and Miyazaki’s Kaze Tachinu.

“BlazBlue” Anime Coming Your Way

image

After three years since a request for an anime adaptation, BlazBlue has finally been green-lit for production. The news was announced on a wrap-around jacket of the franchise’s latest novel volume. No other details have been announced.

There’s speculation that the series will start at the beginning of the video game series in order to attract both old and new fans.
