“TRON” Concept Watches

Artist Alexander Morgan decided to design concepts for some timepieces based off of TRON: Legacy. The artwork is based off of TRON’s Identity Disks.

Too bad they aren’t real, as these are probably some of the most stylish watches I’ve ever seen. It would be awesome if the alarms played Daft Punk as well.

Gotta Stitch ‘Em All: First Gen Pokémon Edition

Some gamers are much more creative than others. Take this individual for instance, who seems to be particularly handy with fabric and a needle and also happens to love Pokémon.

Apparently, the cross stitch was completed over a span of eight months with its creator taking photos in the morning and the afternoon as they worked on it. It’s amazing how well the cross stitch fabric worked out for the creator, giving it a cute pixelated quality to all the Pokémon.

“Hi 5” with Luke Chueh!

Pop surrealism artist Luke Chueh caught the eyes of his peers and art aficionados in 2003. Despite having a background in graphic design, the Fresno native took to painting to make ends meet. Trying to distinguish himself from other artists, the self-taught painter incorporated an ironic concept to his art which helped make a splash in the medium.

You may have seen paintings of Luke’s characters around before. They’re often of cute animals (usually a bear) depicted in disturbing and morbid imagery, yet rife with universal subtext and messages, both positive and negative.

Read on as we Hi 5 artist Luke Chueh!

Sugoi Desu Ne - Paper Cutting

At first glance, I thought Masamisato’s gallery was ink on paper, but as I browse deeper, I couldn’t believe that all of Masamisato’s work are all paper cut-outs.  I have no idea how she’s able to cut out such intricate, tiny designs, or even where she finds the patience to do it all, but it’s truly amazing. There are details so thin, that I feel like looking at it would make it crumble.

View more paper cutting after the break!
