Hello, and welcome to the latest edition of the Weekly Pull List!

Every week I team up with fellow comics contributors Chris (lokiallthefucksigive) and Ryley (ryley-stbatman) as we go through the week’s releases and spotlight our five most anticipated comics from our Pull Lists.

The end of the beginning could be here! In the pages of Superior Spider-Man, it looked like Peter wasn’t down and out after all — but could Doctor Octopus about to be triumphant once and for all? Superior Spider-Man #9 hits shelves today, along with a lot of other great comics!

So what made our picks this week? Read on to find out!

Dial C For Cancelled?

Some early solicitations for DC’s collected editions through next February have hit the web, and among those is the February solicit for the second Dial H paperback collection.

It’s unusual for DC to pack more than around seven issues into one collection, but when they do it’s usually so they can complete a run. That seems like it might be the case for Dial H, as the second volume contains issue #7 through #16.

If Dial H is up to be on the chopping block I can’t say I’m too surprised, as the series has been one of the lowest selling titles from DC in recent months.

Comic Review: Dial H #6

Between arcs, artist David Lapham stops by to tell about a day in the life of a Dial user. Surprisingly, it turns out to be one of, if not the best issue of the series yet. By dealing with issues of political correctness and displaying Nelson’s drive to become a true hero, Mieville and Lapham give us a great single issue story that could work well as a jumping on point for new readers.

Comic Review: Dial H #0

Zero Month hits Dial H in a tale called “Sundial H for Hero” that takes us back to the ancient past of the H-Dial. Not an origin story, this issue gives us a little insight on how long the H-Dial has been on Earth, and exactly what the nature of its powers are. Keeping with the insanity that is usually found within each issue, this installment answers a few questions while raising even more, which is standard fare with this series.

Comic Review: Dial H #3

The first two issues of Dial H introduced it as one of the craziest titles currently running in the DCU, and issue three certainly doesn’t slow down. However, what it does is make a little sense of what’s been going on here, and who it is that’s involved in this series.

Comic Review: Dial H #2

Dial H introduced itself last month as one of the most… eccentric series to hit the New 52 in a while. With a pathetic main character who has the ability bestowed by the H Dial to transform into a host of various strange super heroes with crazy powers (like Boy Chimney and Captain Lachrymose) and a strangely enigmatic foe who goes simply by the initials “X.N.”

This month, the series doesn’t slow down, and I’m happy to bring to you readers my review for Dial H #2!

Comic Review: [First Issue] Dial H #1

I’ve been looking forward to this comic quite a bit since it was first announced. Though, for all intents and purposes this book could fit right into the Vertigo imprint rather than being another DC title from the Dark family of books. That said, Dial H isn’t something anyone was really begging for, but it might be the next series I look forward to the most each month, if not just for how wildly imaginative it is.
