Given the legacy and countless series Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump has provided, it kind of a surprise that there hasn’t been a theme park dedicated to the publication.
That all changes next summer however, as it was announced that a Shonen Jump theme park will be opening next summer in Tokyo.
More details after the break.

Latest footage from the upcoming anime film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (Kami to Kami) was recently aired on Japanese morning television program Mezameshi Terebi. It shows new characters Bills (Birisu), the God of Destruction and main antagonist of the film, and Wiss (Wisu), a mysterious character who is sure to play a vital role. Most of the Z Fighters and other familiar faces also appear.
Set several years after the “Majin Buu Saga” (around chapters 517-518 in the manga), Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will release in theaters across Japan on March 30, 2013. It’ll be the first Dragon Ball movie in 17 years to have a theatrical release.
“DragonBall Z: Saiyan Saga” Live-Action Trailer (Fan-Made)
This impressive live-action trailer — based off the “Vegeta Saga” arc (a.k.a. Saiyan Saga) from Dragon Ball Z — from the folks at K&K Productions will make you wish Dragonball: Evolution never existed even more.
With 7 months of production and a budget of $20,000 (mostly raised by followers on Indiegogo) going into it, this trailer is completely non-profit and made purely out of the love the two brothers behind the production company (Harry and George Kirby) have for the franchise. And it shows.
If you yourself are a fan of the franchise and/or want to get that Hollywood taste out of your mouth, then you definitely need to give this a watch.
“Project Versus J”: The Ultimate Shonen Jump Game
The second 2013 issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing that Namco Bandai Games will launch Project Versus J, which is being billed as the “ultimate Jump game.” The game is set launch sometime next year.
The above image shows off One Piece’s Monkey D. Luffy, Dragon Ball’s Son Goku, and Toriko’s title character.

Dragon Ball Z Kai, the highly-remastered edition of a more streamlined retelling of Dragon Ball Z, may have ended in Japan, but according to a blog post from one of the series’ voice actresses, new episodes are being recorded.

“Dragon Ball Z For Kinect” Has The Most Unintentionally Hilarious Trailer This Year
People love Dragon Ball Z. It’s a classic series that’s absolutely timeless. Of course, Namco Bandai loves to try and capitalize on this fact by releasing a never-ending stream of games set in the universe.
The latest of those is the aptly named Dragon Ball Z For Kinect. Its hook is putting fans into the middle of the action, “actively” controlling the fighting for the fate of the universe. By the looks of things, the game appears to be a weird crossover between a motion-controlled fighter and a move-matching dancing game, with cutscenes playing out between your flailing.
“Become a Super Saiyan!” in October 2012 on the Xbox 360.

SkyrimBall Z: A “Dragon Ball” Overhaul Project For “Skyrim”
Fus Ro Kamehame DAH!!!
The title says it all. If you want to power up Saiyan style and blast dragons and townspeople alike, then this mod is for you.
Level towns and destroy your surroundings with moves like the Destructo Disc and powerful Ki Blasts. Don’t forget to blind the heck out of your unsuspecting town folk with a Solar Flare and burn your wolves and bears to a crisp with the Kamehameha. If Goku isn’t enough for you, put on that warpaint and run amok as Majin, Tien, or even Krillin.

While on the subject of LEGO, check out some incredible customs of some of your favorite Dragonball characters! Brought to us by NickGreat :).
My favorite one is Perfect Cell shown in the photo above. More at Mocpages.com.
