“Bayonetta 2” Changes Its Hairstyle But Not Its Action

Platinum Games’ sequel to one of this generation’s great action games doesn’t seem to be letting up at all.

The Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2 looks absolutely insane with its heart-pounding action and an intense color scheme that will tickle your eyeballs. And don’t forget about those ridiculous action set-pieces that Bayonetta seems to just breeze through.

Wii U owners should have a great exclusive on their hands when Bayonetta 2 arrives on Wii U in 2014.

Here’s The E3 Trailer For That Unnamed Wii U Monolith Soft Game

Monolith Soft has quietly cranked out some classic JRPGs, such as the Xenosaga series and the Wii’s critically acclaimed Xenoblade Chronicles. Now Monolith Soft is working on a new Wii U title that looks a lot like the aforementioned Xenoblade Chronicles, only with robots and mechs instead.

Currently named ”X,” Monolith Soft’s next game will be some sort of action-RPG that allows for co-op play in a massive world… and that’s all we really know up to this point. Still, it looks pretty intriguing and seems to be a very unique game for Wii U owners in 2014.

Here’s More About The TV Show/Game Hybrid “Quantum Break”

I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t understand what the heck the new Xbox One game Quantum Break was going to be about, but this new trailer might change all that.

From Remedy — developer of Max Payne and Alan Wake —  comes the new action experience that allows players to create a “director’s cut” of a TV show through their actions in the game. It’s an intriguing trailer that gives a little more insight into what gamers can actually expect when Quantum Break is eventually released on the Xbox One.

“Crimson Dragon” Is The Spiritual Successor To “Panzer Dragoon”

First shown off during the Xbox E3 press conference (albeit with no sound), Crimson Dragon grabbed some attention because it will be the spiritual successor to the critically acclaimed, cult-hit franchise Panzer Dragoon.

With creator Yukio Futatsugi at the helm and other returning staffers from the Panzer Dragoon series, Crimson Dragon is the best hope for old fans to satiate their desire for an old school rail shooter.

Crimson Dragon is currently set for downloadable release on Xbox One.

“D4” Might Be Another Mystery Game Worthy Of Attention

After Twin Peaks: The Game Deadly Premonition received critical acclaim early in the Xbox 360’s lifecycle, Swery65 has been on a lot more gamer’s radars than before. The game won much praise with its focus on mystery and detective elements.

It comes as no real surprise that Swery65 has decided to tap back into the mystery genre for his next game D4. Following the murder of his wife, players take the role of a detective who has the ability to go back in time and must try and prevent her murder in this noir mystery.

Gamers should definitely keep an eye out as more information about D4 gets out in the upcoming months.

New Pokémon Type Confirmed

Revealed in E3 Nintendo Direct is a whole new Pokémon type. Leading the way is Sylveon, which was revealed not too long ago and left many speculating what possibilities awaited in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Sylveon, along with already existing Pokémon like Jigglypuff, Gardevoir and Marill, will be classified under the Fairy type, which is said to be super effective against Dragon types.

Of course, that wasn’t the only new reveal in the past few hours. New Pokémon, like Vivillon (Bug/Flying) and Noivern (Flying/Dragon), were showcased in the newest trailer. New moves like Boomburst and Moonblast were shown for the first time. In addition, a new in-game feature called the Pokémon-Amie allows you to play with your Pokémon using the 3DS touch screen, bonding with them in this manner.

Biggest of all, Pokémon X/Y will be launched worldwide on October 12. The games will be available for digital download via Nintendo eShop, and have both StreetPass and SpotPass functionality.

Here’s A First Look At Mega Man In “Super Smash Bros.”

He may be one of the most wanted and most obvious additions to add to the Super Smash Bros. roster, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting to see him.

Mega Man was shown in Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and Wii U today during the E3 Nintendo Direct. Mega Man is shown with all of his typical powers, like the Mega Buster and his faithful dog Rush, but he will also have access to classic power ups of the Robot Masters throughout the series. It isn’t clear which powers the Blue Bomber will be able to use, but I’m sure it’ll be well cleared up soon.
