Need More Style In Your Fighters? “Persona 4 Arena” Is Right Up Your Alley
Atlus doesn’t think people can get enough Persona in their lives. Well, they’re mainly right, which is why a fighter based on Persona 4 is coming to consoles this summer.
Persona 4 Arena takes the 12 of the familiar characters and Personas of the popular JRPG and shifts them into battle against one another in the mysterious TV show, the P-1 Grand Prix, to see who will reign supreme. Atlus seems to be doing a fantastic job flashing and dazzling gamers to create a completely new experience from an existing frachise.
Persona 4 Arena will be released this summer for PS3 and Xbox 360.

“Persona 4 Golden” Is (Probably) The Best Portable RPG You Can Play This Year
Atlus is re-releasing Persona 4 as Persona 4 Golden on the PS Vita. If you missed it like me, they are giving new and old fans alike more reasons than ever to experience arguably one of the best JRPGs ever made.
Featuring a host of new features to the game, such as a new opening movie, new anime cutscenes, tweaks and changes to gameplay, new Personas to collect and a new character and story points to play through, the PS2 classic is going to provide one of the best reasons to own a Vita when it’s released.
Persona 4 Golden will be on store shelves for the PS Vita this fall.

“Scribblenauts Unlimited” Is An Open-World Puzzle Solver
Everyone assumes Maxwell would still be the star of the next Scribblenauts game on the 3DS, but does anyone really know anything about him?
Apparently, the puzzle game is going to give some backstory on the man with the rooster hat and might finally explain some of his motivations to help all those random people, animals, and whatever other random inhabitants we could possibly imagine.
In a bit of a surprise move, the new Scribblenauts Unlimited is also going with an “open-world” to explore, while the puzzles will appear more organically as players run across them.
Scribblenauts Unlimited will be released this fall on the 3DS.

“Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon” Features More Luigi Screams Than Ever
One of my own big dark horse games coming into E3 2012 had to be Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon since it seemed to be largely ignored last year when it was announced. Luckily, it’s getting a second chance in 2012 by being one of the biggest releases on the 3DS this fall.
The new trailer out of E3 features Mario’s brother sucking up ghosts in a variety of the mansions that we be available in the final game. And Luigi falls down an elevator shaft, which is pretty morbid from Nintendo.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will be released this fall for the 3DS.

“Paper Mario: Sticker Star” Is The Closest To A Mario RPG You’ll Get This Year
Unsurprisingly, a highlight for Nintendo’s 3DS Showcase was the latest game in the Paper Mario franchise, Sticker Star.
As you’ll see in the trailer, Mario’s biggest allies will be the glue-backed decorations, which become Mario’s quest items and attacks once collected. Players will find them everywhere in the vibrant world, from hidden behind bushes, stuck onto buildings, and even being carried by enemies.
The new game, despite its battle system, is not an RPG in the traditional sense. Paper Mario: Sticker Star will use items to increase stats on Mario, like HP, attack and more.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star will be released this fall on the 3DS.

Square Enix Just Blew Everyone’s Minds With Their “Agni’s Philosophy” Tech Demo
So there’s been tons of great content coming out of E3 this week, but Square Enix probably just stole the spotlight away from everybody else.
Dubbed Agni’s Philosophy, Square Enix unveiled a new tech demo using a new engine that is targeting next-gen consoles. This “Final Fantasy Realtime Demo” has everything, from stunning magic, beautiful lighting, very fine animations, and perfectly rendered beasts. The game, while somewhat reminiscent of Bioshock, is completely unlike any Final Fantasy you have ever seen before and will leave you wanting so much more.
There are tons of unanswered questions surrounding this tech demo, so it would be best not to try and preorder this game in the near future.
Expect more information on this new development engine very soon.

“New Super Mario Bros. 2” Is Only In It For The Money
One of the three new 3DS games shown off today in the Nintendo press conference was the sure-fire hit, New Super Mario Bros. 2. And it’s sure looking like pure gold.
It’s the typical side-scroller we have come to expect of Mario but with some fun new power-ups and way more coins than I’ve ever seen. A new focus of the title is collecting as many coins as humanly possible, still for extra lives, but the focus has me thinking that the coins might serve some other purpose as well…
New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be out in North America on August 19, 2012.

“ZombiU” Wants To Infect U
Ubisoft took to the stage in the Nintendo press conference to show off their new game ZombiU, which was first shown off to the public yesterday.
Among the highlights are the ability to interact with onscreen obstacles and target enemies using the GamePad. The game seems to be all about survival, showing some scenes of intense gore and action.
Apparently, death in the game also turns you into a zombie. It’s not clear what role players will have once they do become a zombie (although it’s safe to assume you eat brains).
ZombiU will be released for the Wii U this year.
