Pre-Order D-arts Mega Man X and Venusaur
Currently up for pre-order are two amazing Bandai D-arts figures worth adding to your collections.
I’m not a big Mega Man fan, but damn, I can’t resist that Mega Man X Ultimate Armor D-arts figure. The detail and the color of his metallized armor is just too amazing to pass up. Mega Man will come with an extra faceplate and some action attachments. D-arts Mega Man X Ultimate Armor will go for about ¥4500.
Also Pokefans, don’t forget to add Venusaur to your D-arts Pokemon collection. In my opinion, Venusaur looks the best out of the three current Pokemon figures. Venusaur comes with vine whip attachments and will go for about ¥3800. Pre-orders for these two figures can be found at:

It’s that time of year again! After going through the truckloads of images, I’ve selected my top five picks from Summer Wonder Festival 2012. There were plenty of gorgeous figures from the current anime seasons, and you’ll find one of them in here, but most of the figures that really took the cake either don’t come from anime period or are blasts from the past.

One of my favorite parts of Wonder Festival is getting to see all the absolutely stunning garage kits, some of which are up to par or surpass the skill level of the major manufacturer pieces. This year is no disappointment.

Bayonetta (Bayonetta) by Phat! Company
I’ve always worried that with her epic (read unrealistic) proportions, Bayonetta wouldn’t translate well from television screen vixen to figurine bombshell, but in this case, I’m very happy to be proven wrong.
Under the cut you can find the newest figures from manufacturers Phat! Company, Gift, FREEing, Wing, Altair, Orchid Seed, AmiAmi, and Native.
(Note: The figures at the end by manufacturer Native are a little NSFW, so be careful where you view them.)

Dark Magician (Yu-Gi-Oh) by Kotobukiya
I love the Dark Magician as much as anyone, but sometimes the figure choices at this festival are quite unexpected. This summer’s upcoming figures from power house producers Alter, Kotobukiya, and MegaHouse can be seen in all their glory under the cut.

Nendoroid Petite Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len Append Ver. (Vocaloid)
I know that Wonder Festival can be a very stressful time of year, but does that make it okay to put the wrong heads on the wrong bodies? I certainly hope you’re just trying to pull a fast one on us!

There’s nothing quite like the smell of new plastic wafting up from a cardboard box to start your day off right. My love affair with figures has been making my pocket book too light too often since I was but a wee middle school student. Now, approaching my final year of college, I’ve only fallen further down the rabbit hole. Now, I eagerly await each Wonder Festival to see what new beauties will be released to the masses the coming season. Below are my favorite picks from this year’s Winter Wonder Festival!
