However, if they fail to catch the killer, only the killer graduates and the others are annihilated. Which of the 15 will survive the bloodbath to come?” -Mangahere.com

Thoughts: The manga starts off fairly generic, but if there is anything that I have heard from the ever growing fanbase, is that some crazy stuff happens. Twists galore.

Promo Preview For Anime “Blood Lad”

The widely popular horror-action manga Blood Lad  is set to premiere in Japan this July. This is the second promotional video clip in anticipation of the upcoming series.

For the uninitiated, the storyline follows Blood Charlie Staz, a vampire with an otaku-like obsession with the human world. Through a series of events, he promises to help a female ghost, Fuyumi, to regain her humanity.

Charlie Staz will be voiced by Ryota Osaka, the same voice actor who voiced Haruto in Valvrave; while Iori Nomizu of Deadman Wonderland fame (as Minatsuki) will be voicing Fuyumi.

Author: Okeanosu
Artist:   Mitogawa Wataru
Genre(s): Action, Adventure, Mecha, Romance, Sci-fi, Shounen

The story begins in the distant future in the far reaches of the galaxy. The Human Galactic Alliance has been constantly fighting for its survival against a grotesque race of beings called “Hidiaazu.” During an intense battle, the young lieutenant Redo and his humanoid mobile weapon Chamber are swallowed up into a distortion of time and space. Waking from his artificially induced hibernation, Redo realizes that he has arrived on Earth, the planet on the lost frontier. On this planet that was completely flooded by the seas, people live in fleets of giant ships, salvaging relics from the seas’ depths in order to survive. Redo arrives on one of the fleets called Gargantia. With no knowledge of the planet’s history or culture, he is forced to live alongside Amy, a 15-year-old girl who serves as a messenger aboard the Gargantia fleet. To Redo, who has lived a life where he knows nothing but fighting, these days of peace continue to surprise him.” -Kissmanga.com

Thoughts: This is the manga adaption of a currently-airing anime? This is quite an unusual situation, yet, it is probably serving its purpose as I now want to watch the anime.
