Weekend Remix: Stark Records

Song: The Iron Man Trilogy Remix
By: Mike Relm
Based On: Iron Man from Black Sabbath and sounds and clips from Iron Man (film)
Original Composers: Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler,Bill Ward, and Tony Iommi

It’s no secret that most fans were left impressed with the latest Iron Man film. The movie not only managed to smash box office records, but it also garnered some praise on the level of Marvel’s The Avengers.

It served as a perfect film to properly open the summer movie season. With Stark’s solo film adventures now a trilogy, it would make sense for Mike Relm’s remix to document that fact.

Relm’s mix takes the Sabbath classic into a techno realm, sprinkling in chopped soundbites and scenes as if a DJ is playing doctor on the trilogy.

It’s a fun addition to the films.

Until next weekend… GO Party!

First Trailer For Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

There have been little snippets floating around for a bit now, but last night saw ABC show the first full 30-second trailer for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the TV follow-up to The Avengers.

Directed and co-written by Joss Whedon, whilst Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen also co-write, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. sees the return of fan favorite Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) in a world of espionage which has been radically changed by the battle of New York.

Let the Coulson theories continue!

From Singer’s Twitter account comes this first look at James McAvoy’s Professor Xavier looking rather ragged in his wheelchair and still sporting some hair. Again, the image is nothing more than a tease in the same vein as the first looks for Storm, Wolverine and Kitty Pryde.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for a July 18th, 2014 release and also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Peter Dinklage, Sir Ian McKellan, Sir Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Halley Berry, Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart and Daniel Cudmore.

Awesome New Poster For “The Wolverine”
Over the weekend, director James Mangold released on Twitter this latest poster for The Wolverine, whilst teasing fans about potential future glimpses of the Silver Samurai before the film’s release.
I have to say, I really do love this style of poster, as I did with the first poster that the team released showing Wolverine.
When I see posters like this, it makes me wonder who decides that ones like the crowded ninja attack poster look good…
The Wolverine opens July 26.
