After 46 characters, 26 days and 4 rounds later, we’re finally down to the final 2: a Time Lord and a War Lord!
One is a famous television veteran of the geek world who had to work extra hard to win each match, the other is a notorious manga upstart from the otaku world who dominated every single opponent he faced. Both are two strong combatants with immense power. Both are sorta-but-not-really representatives of the medical field. Both have rabid fanbases. But only one will remain standing.

Today’s penultimate battle decides which final character will have the chance to fight for the title of Fan Favorite. And it’s only fitting that the final spot comes down to the only two characters who have dominated their opponents in every single round.
Despite not having used the family’s secret technique up to this point, Joseph Joestar has effectively managed to run away from the competition. On the same token, Trafalgar Law has separated himself so far from every competitor he’s faced, that no one has even come close to his spherical territory.

Today’s penultimate First Round otaku battle features a good mix of characters.
Watashi may be sweet, but if opponents aren’t careful, they’re liable to succumb to either her sharp knife or her sharp tongue. While an agent of good, Jill Valentine has been a resident of evil for a long time, so there’s no foe or fiend she can overcome. Finally, Warlord Trafalgar Law is as strong a pirate as they come, and he’s not gonna allow anyone to separate him from his goal of being Fan Favorite.

The tournament’s third otaku battle is one of a kind — it features the only all-female match-up of the First Round.
At first glance, these ladies may seem harmless, innocent, submissive and weak, but they’re more than meets the eye. That is especially true for the eye-patched Rikka Takanashi (see what I did there?), whose chuunibyou provides her with the ability to banish unsuspecting (and non-believing) opponents from this world. Misaki Ayuzawa may have the reputation as an aggressive boy-hater, but she’ll have no problem showing the other girls her demonic side. And underneath the kind and respectful personality of Retsu Unohana, lays a master swordsman who thirsts for violence and bloodshed.
