Atlus announced that there will be a manga based on the upcoming Persona 4: The Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena illustrated by AIYAH-BALL (Live On Cardliver Kakeru, Code Age). There isn’t a release date for the manga, but it is said that it will differ from the fighting game, and the story will focus on the characters’ emotions. Meanwhile, Arena is set for a July 26 release date for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan, and August 7 here in the U.S.

Atlus doesn’t think people can get enough Persona in their lives. Well, they’re mainly right, which is why a fighter based on Persona 4 is coming to consoles this summer.
Persona 4 Arena takes the 12 of the familiar characters and Personas of the popular JRPG and shifts them into battle against one another in the mysterious TV show, the P-1 Grand Prix, to see who will reign supreme. Atlus seems to be doing a fantastic job flashing and dazzling gamers to create a completely new experience from an existing frachise.
Persona 4 Arena will be released this summer for PS3 and Xbox 360.

First Trailer Of “Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena”
Famitsu.com has posted the first trailer of Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, the first fighting game based off the Persona franchise, pitting together characters from Persona 3 + 4.
Atlus has teamed up with fighting game developer Arc System Works, who is responsible for the BlazBlue and Guilty Gears series.
Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena will first hit arcades in Japan in 2012, then will make its way to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later that summer.
