“Project J” as it was once known as, has decided to switch its title to “J-Stars Victory Vs.” In addition, a new character has been confirmed for its roster.

Few games have had the success of the Halo franchise, gaining worldwide recognition and a huge fanbase. Now the original developers of Halo aim to create a game that’s bigger and more expansive than anything that’s come before it. Meet Destiny.

The rumor mill has been abuzz lately with speculation that Sony is abandoning their successful Dualshock brand of controllers in favor of something a little bit different. Apparently, Destructoid has gotten a hold of a photo of an alleged prototype controller for an Orbis dev kit, or for those not familiar with the console code names, the PS4.

It’s been announced the title will have an Olympus quality bundle for the US.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3): Studio Ghibli — the famous animation studio that’s made classic movies such as Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle — and Level-5 — the developer of the fantastic Professor Layton games — teamed up to create the one of the best looking JRPGs ever. The story follows Oliver, a young boy who’s mother has died as he travels to a parallel universe to try and bring her back to life.

DmC: Devil May Cry (PS3, 360): Ninja Theory’s reboot of the Capcom action franchise has seen its share of criticism, especially with the new visual style of the Dante. But judging from their past successes with Enslaved and Heavenly Sword, DmC will see new life breathed into the fast-paced combat as Dante’s dual pistols and sword get their long awaited return to glory.

Another classic PS2 game is becoming downloadable beginning soon.

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, the second game in the highly-popular strategy-RPG series, will be a “PS2 Classic” on PSN starting on January 22nd. It will carry a standard $9.99 price tag and should be a straight port of the PS2 version, not the PSP version released later (and included extra content).

Anarchy Reigns (PS3, 360): From Platinum Games — developers of the acclaimed Bayonetta and the upcoming Metal Gear Rising — is another over-the-top action game at a budget price. After a lengthy localization, Sega has brought the open-world brawler to North America, complete with online multiplayer and crazy cyborg-on-cyborg action.
