New “Grand Theft Auto V” Trailer Features All 3 Lead Characters

Rockstar has dropped a new trailer — which is basically 3 trailers in 1 — that gives an extensive and individual look at all 3 of the game’s lead characters: Michael, Franklin and Trevor.

A good blend of action and humor, each take provides further insight into who the characters are and the daily lives they live, as well as the types of chaos you can expect them to attract and create.

Look forward to joining in on the fun on September 17 of this year.

“Grand Theft Auto V” Has Been Delayed; Will Be Released September 17th

image

The big news out of Rockstar this morning is that Grand Theft Auto V now has a confirmed release date of September 17th, 2013. This comes after the developer announced previously that the hotly-anticipated game was targeting a Spring 2013 release date. The delay is to apparently add more polish to help it reach the Rockstar quality we’ve come to expect.

The full press release is after the break.

After a stuffed holiday season, gamers usually anticipate a bit of time off to catch up on last year’s favorites that they might’ve missed or glossed over.

But 2013 is not one of those years.

Looking at the first six months of this year, publishers are pulling out all the stops, delivering games such as Ni No Kuni, DmC, Rayman Legends, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Gears of War: Judgement, and God of War: Ascension. As good as all these games will be, they didn’t even crack the list of Top 5 Most Anticipated Games Of Early 2013.

“Grand Theft Auto V’s” Second Trailer Is Live

The wait for Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V has officially begun with the release date announcement a couple of weeks ago and now there’s also a new trailer to go along with it.

We’re taken back to the very slick and modern setting of Los Santos and introduced to the three main protagonists: Michael (the suit-wearing gentleman), Trevor (the scruffier balding man), and Franklin (the youngest of the bunch). As announced previously, any of the three protagonists will be available to play at any time, so it will be interesting to see how this could effect gameplay and plot.

Grand Theft Auto V hits store shelves Spring 2013 for PS3 and 360.

“Grand Theft Auto V” Will Be The Biggest Game In The Series By Far

It may not come as a surprise to find out that Grand Theft Auto V will be the biggest GTA game in the entire series. According to Rockstar’s interview with Game Informer, though, how big it will be may still open gamers’ eyes.

Hit the break to find out just how big, as well as additional new details like the names of the three new protagonists and other game features.

“GTA: Vice City’s” Last Mission As Presented By A Commodore 64

There have been countless demakes of new games onto old platforms of late. However, this new demake stands out from the rest by doing such incredible justice to the Rockstar PS2 classic, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

If anyone is wondering, the video does contain massive spoilers, but I’d like to point out that Vice City is almost ten years old. If you haven’t finished it by now, you’re never going to.

Game Review: Max Payne 3

Rockstar has waited nine long years to unleash their flawed, former New York detective back onto the world. Despite meager attempts at peace, Max is back at his old “shoot first, ask questions later” ways, playing bodyguard for the rich and the poisonous. Trouble manages to find Max without fail, throwing him back into center stage, splashing his face across newspaper headlines as the body count rises.

Most people think that the American action hero gets to ride off into the sparkling sunset after dispensing their own wild brand of vigilante justice. But it’s hard to find tranquility through the bottom of a glass.

This is another story of the “man with nothing to lose.” This is Max Payne 3.

Games of the Week: Careful With Those Payne-killers

Max Payne 3 (PS3, 360, PC): Rockstar Games’ invigoration of Remedy’s classic series about the troubled former New York detective finds him deep in the heart of Brazil to play the role of protector of a wealthy business family during dangerous and hostile times. It features the trademark bullet-time and a brand new multiplayer that could revolutionize the way third-person shooters are played.

Max Payne’s Time In The Sun Delayed Until May

[via]

Rockstar Games is notoriously stingy about the quality of its games even when it can cause a delay. That’s why Max Payne 3’s shift back until May 15th on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and the PC’s delay until May 29th, isn’t a huge surprise.

It’s still unfortunate but considering the short amount of time from being shown off to release and the inclusion of the innovative and exciting looking multiplayer, it might be best we wait out the two months.

“GTA 3” Coming To iOS And Android Next Week

[via]

The most anticipated PS2 iOS and Android game is coming to several mobile devices next week. Early game will only be compatible with the most recent devices, such as the iPhone 4S and 4, iPad 1 and 2, and several Android tablets (full list of supported devices after the break), but Rockstar has stated that they are working towards supporting many more devices later on.

And the best part about returning to Liberty City? It’s only $4.99.

L.A. Noire Goes Gritty on May 17

Rockstar’s L.A. Noire will finally be released on May 17, exactly one year after Red Dead Redemption. Here’s a new trailer to tie us over for the next four months. This game looks ridiculous with its stunning animations and atmosphere. Reminds me a lot of the movie “Black Dahlia” except we’ll be able to play it!
