There’s news today that Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Velvet Goldmine) is in talks for an undisclosed role in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.
El Mayimbe over at Latino Review broke the scoop, and he has a pretty good track record with breaking casting news. Let the speculation begin on what role he’ll be playing, but if it’s true, my money’s on Jacen Solo (if they even go down that road).

Hello, and welcome to the latest edition of the Weekly Pull List!
Every week I team up with fellow comics contributors Chris (lokiallthefucksigive) and Ryley (ryley-stbatman) as we go through the week’s releases and spotlight our five most anticipated comics from our Pull Lists.
There are a lot of good comics out this week — and some which have already caused controversy before release! Saga #12 hits shelves this week, and will be available on ComiXology for download after all, for all of those who prefer their comics in digital format. Add to that the next chapter of Age of Ultron, and some more gatefold cover madness from DC, and it looks like there will be a lot to discuss again!
Hit the break to see what made our picks this week.

The news coming out of Disney, owner of everything Star Wars, is that LucasArts — publisher/developer of dozens of classic titles like Grim Fandango, The Secret of Monkey Island, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars: X-Wing, and Zombies Ate My Neighbours (among so many others) — is being shuttered. Disney has decided to shift LucasArts “from an internal development to a licensing model” according to Game Informer.
And somehow there’s still more bad news. As a result of the closure, Star Wars 1313 and Star Wars: First Assault have also been cancelled.

Custom “Mega Man” Figures Made Of “Star Wars” Toys
Dan Polydoris, the Chicago Toy Collector, pieced together and repainted vintage Kenner Star Wars figures to make his own custom Mega Man toys.
Mega Man was made out of a X-Wing pilot version of Luke Skywalker, while Dr. Light was made out of Obi-Wan. Got to love the box art too.

With Harrison Ford heavily rumored to return as everyone’s favorite space pirate, Han Solo, for Star Wars: Episode VII, Ford himself has spoken to WGN about the prospect of a return.
Ford said,“I’m looking forward to it… I think it’s going to happen.”
Still, we’ve not got official confirmation, but everything seems to be lining up for Ford to return, not to mention Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, aka Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. George Lucas himself even seemingly let it slip that the three original stars were near returning a few weeks ago.
At present, Star Wars: Episode VII is set for a 2015 release and will be directed by J.J. Abrams.
