“Bullet to the Head” (2013) Debut Trailer

Following the first trailer of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s latest solo action film The Last Stand, the trailer for Sylvester Stallone’s next solo adventure has been released.

Bullet to the Head is based off a graphic novel of the same name and sees a New Orleans hit man (Stallone) team up with a New York Cop (Sung Kang) to track down the killers of their respective partners.

Unlike The Last Stand, Bullet to the Head’s first trailer doesn’t really impress. There are a couple of cool moments, but the dialogue just seems rather cliched—especially the humor. Here’s hoping that it’s just the way the trailer was constructed because there is some hope for this film since it is being directed by Walter Hill (48 Hrs).

Bullet to the Head is slated for a February 1st release and also stars Jason Momoa, Christian Slater, Sarah Shahi and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

“The Expendables 2” San Diego Comic-Con Poster
A new ’80s action movie themed poster of The Expendables 2 for SDCC has hit the web. Radiating an aura of masculinity, this poster has it all for the action star mash-up sequel. The poster itself is probably the best one to date thanks to its orange and blue contrast, while being a reminder of the genre’s glory days in the ’80s.

New Poster For “The Expendables 2” Hits
Yahoo! Movies has debuted the latest poster for The Expendables 2, the upcoming ensemble action film featuring some of the biggest names in the business.
Whilst a tad generic, it does feature a funky little tagline, and it certainly does look better than the first ensemble photoshopped offering of the cast.

“The Expendables 2” (2012) First Official TV Spot

It was only a matter of time but the first official TV spot for Stallone’s follow-up action hero mash-up is out. There’s only a few bits of new footage, including a Terminator. The marketing team behind the film seems dead set on keying in on its ensemble cast of action stars and explosions, but a few bits of its “plot” are shown.

The Expendables 2 hit theaters on August 17th.

“The Expendables 2” (2012) Fan Trailer - “Made In America”

YouTube channel The Monocular Group return once again with a fan-made trailer for the mash-up action film, Expendables 2. This testosterone-laced fan trailer takes shots at all the recent major visual effects-heavy blockbuster films—including the likes of John Carter, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers and Green Lantern—in favour of the traditional action film that had its heyday in the 80’s.

With The Expendables 2 set for release later this year, and featuring both Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger along with action icons like Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris, this trailer does its best to champion the film among all other summer blockbusters. It’s quite the fitting trailer that had my inner child smiling gleefully at how cheesy it was. Was this trailer necessary to get me to watch the movie? No, but it only helps and gives me something new to watch until a new trailer is released.

“The Expendables 2” Trailer Unleashed

After the lovely little teaser trailer for the trailer yesterday, IGN has debuted the explosive first trailer for The Expendables 2

Featuring an introduction by Sylvester Stallone, the trailer unsurprisingly doesn’t entirely give away too much of the plot per se, but it does show that this film has really upped the ante on the action and destruction of its predecessor.

The Expendables 2 opens in theatres August 17.
