Concept Art For Marvel ‘Phase Two’ Films Hits The Net

Website Geek Zenith has posted four images online which appear to be pieces of concept art from three of Marvel’s Phase Two films — to be specific, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor: The Dark World.

The images have been provided with no source, which has led to many news outlets presuming that they originated from the “Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One Collection,” if they are indeed legitimate pieces of concept art.

Either way, they do look awesome.

Thor: The Dark World is due to hit theaters November 8, 2013, whilst Captain America: The Winter Soldier is currently set for an April 4, 2014, release, and Guardians of the Galaxy is expected to grace screens August 1, 2014.

“Thor: The Dark World” Finds Its Villain In Christopher Eccleston

Despite rumours that the villains of Thor: The Dark World would be Amora the Enchantress and Skurge the Executioner, it seems that we’ve got someone a little different, as it has been reported that Christopher Eccleston has been cast as Malekith, the leader of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim, presumably the Dark World of the title. Mads Mikkelsen had been previously linked with the role, but was forced to back out due to scheduling clashes.

Eccelston, famous in geek circles for his roles in Doctor Who and Heroes, is evidently no stranger to comic book characters.
