“Naruto Shippuden: Dreamers Fight” - Fan Film Trailer

If you’ve never heard of the awesome Thousand Pounds Fight Team, they’re a group that have made really cool live-action ultra combo videos based off of Street Fighter, like this, as well as generally radical choreographed fight scenes.

Lately, they’ve been working on a special 20 minute fan film based on Naruto. And based on this trailer, I’d say that we’re store for something amazing.

“This is the new fan tribute our team has chosen to do next. Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto Series (Manga & Anime) has heavily inspired many of us so we thought it would be cool to try and translate a fight to a live action format.

The short is being shot on the Canon EOS 7D and was done on a budget of about $4,000 (Out of pocket). The run time should be around 20 minutes. You could say it acts as a live action filler. The battle will be between The Leaf’s Naruto Uzamaki & Rock Lee and is set to release this summer. Our team has put their all into this short and we really hope Naruto fans and the creators will enjoy what we’ve put together!”

You’ve got to give them credit for coming up with such a great project with little money while putting most Hollywood efforts to shame.
