After a flurry of Arrow news yesterday with the scheduling announced and a teaser clip released, today sees a trailer detailing the transformation of Oliver Queen from billionaire playboy to the Emerald Archer.

The trailer outlines the premise of the show, showing how Queen obtained his uncanny archery abilities, alongside the decision to hone his abilities upon his return home, deciding to exercise his socially conscious form of justice.

“Elementary” (2012) - Fall Preview

Here we have the first preview of CBS’s latest fall addition to their broadcast, Elementary. For those wondering what this show is, it is in fact an American version of Sherlock Holmes that takes place in New York City.

City and locale aside, I actually found this preview pretty interesting. Purists can hate this all they want, but I for one am open to seeing a new iteration of Holmes’ character. Do I have a problem with seeing him in New York City? No, absolutely not. As long as they get the character right and make it interesting that’s all that matters to me. On a side note, it is quite nice to see Lucy Liu getting work.

“Arrow” - ‘Just Beginning’ Clip

Hot on the heels of the scheduling news for Arrow, this first clip has hit the web for the CW series based on the DC character of Green Arrow.

The clip is essentially a short origin and training montage and for what it is, it does impress me on the physicality of the up-and-coming hero.
