Teased a long while back, Marvel announced this weekend at the Amazing Spider-Man panel at SDCC that both Venom and Scarlet Spider will be involved in a crossover titled Minimum Carnage this October.
The story will see both Venom and Scarlet Spider having to work together in order to defeat Carnage, who has found a new hunting ground, hinted to be the Microverse dimension.

Announced today at Marvel’s Next Big Thing liveblog, Rick Remender will be departing Venom with August’s issue #22 being his last.
Taking over full writing duties from issue #23 (also in August) is Cullen Bunn, who has been co-writing the current Savage Six storyline alongside Remender that pits Venom against the likes of Crime Master, Jack O’Lantern, the Human Fly, Megatak, Death Adder, and the new Toxin, Eddie Brock.
