After 18 days, 4 rounds and the elimination of 30 characters, we’re finally down to 1 Geek character and 1 Otaku character!
Our Championship match brings together two entirely different characters from entirely different mediums with entirely different backgrounds and personalities. One is your cookie cutter savior of the world, the other is…well, the other is a little more complicated than that. But one thing’s for sure: Both deserve to be a Champion.
While Vriska Serket had to hold off Wheatley by the skin of her teeth in the Final 4, she pretty much dominated M’aiq The Liar, Harry Potter and Catherine in earlier rounds. Link on the other hand vanquished all comers — Shuto Katsuragi, Yuu Narukami and Wild Tiger — on his path to the Championship round with relative ease, which concluded with a magical Final 4 victory over Kyoko Sakura. Link certainly has the pedigree and longer-standing fan base that could lead him to the top. And based off previous results, he’s probably the favorite in this fight. But if there’s one person who can best the hero, it’s Vriska, the gaming killer. Out of 7 video game characters in the Geek bracket, she defeated 3 of them. Can she beat the cream of gaming’s crop?

Our fourth and final Elite 8 match-up brings together two different types of ladies who, by all accounts, are equally as formidable. In the Sweet 16, Catherine was able to charm her way past Loki, while Vriska Serket surprisingly trolled through everyone’s favorite wizard, Harry Potter. Now both face off in the round of 8, one step closer to glory.
Will the blonde beauty provide to be a nightmare for another victim, or will the mind-controller be able to get into the head of another opponent?

Today features a worthy championship battle dressed in a Sweet 16 match. Both characters were able to advanced past the 1st round without much effort. Harry Potter zapped Peter Brand out of Hogwarts and Vriska Serket swiftly booted M’aiq The Liar off of Trollian. One of these characters will lay claim to being the last four-eyed geek standing. Who will it be?
On the Otaku bracket, an all-anime battle awaits two characters who also managed to make short work of their 1st round foes. Chihaya Ayase gracefully overwhelmed Maho Shirafune and Wild Tiger NEXT’ed Naruko Anjou. Will the aspiring Queen get past another male protagonist, or will Sternbild’s hero subdue another teenage beauty?
