I’ve attempted to do some reviews that will help readers be able to get prepared for this summers onslaught of Comic movies, but I haven’t yet done anything for X-Men: First Class. It’s a bit hard, though, considering how off the movie is from the comics, but I think that the classic “Dark Phoenix Saga” would be a good book to look at before the movie, being that it features the debut of Emma Frost when she was with the Hellfire club, both of which appear in the upcoming film.

So how does the old book hold up? Is it still an accessible classic, or has it’s writing become dated with time? Read on to find out!
