Difference between Breeches and Jodhpurs

What are Breeches?

Breeches is a common term to define lower-body clothing which extends from the upper waist still the knees. Usually, breeches cover the area just below the waist and stops at the knee point.

In some of the breeches, the clothing covers the ankle part and has a look similar to the old man’s pants or trousers. You may have seen British royal guards riding on a horse while wearing short pant. Well, they are nothing but the breeches.
